One of my most valuable possessions is my Polaroid 600 XR Business Edition, as I think they create the most beautiful image I have ever seen (yes, yes its an exaggeration because I am the one who took it ).  I was devastated when Polaroid announced that they stopped making its analogue instant film and shut their factories in the Netherlands and Mexico on 8 February 2008.

But things are looking up, the legacy of Polaroid isn’t dead yet people. A group of 12 men who called themselves as The Impossible Project, has swooped in to save the day. They are trying to reinvent the way integral film pack are manufactured, and their goal is not to re-build Polaroid Integral film but to develop a new product with new characteristics for vintage Polaroid cameras starting in 2010 .

I’ll be watching their progress, hoping they can do the impossible, and let my beloved Polaroid’s live again in 18,245,055 seconds.
